Description: Constructed for Auburn City Council in under eight months, Berala Community Centre is spacious, modern and very well designed to meet the needs of the community it serves. The brand new building provides a wonderfully open, social centre to foster community collaboration in a relaxed, peaceful environment where people can circulate and interact. The following facilities and spaces are incorporated into the site: Multipurpose community hall;Multipurpose activity room; Two meeting rooms; Non-commercial Kitchen and kitchenette facilities; An office space; Flexible storage spaces; Public toilets and associated amenities; Outdoor areas; Car Parking; and Landscaping. Situated ideally near Berala Town Centre and Train Station at Corner of Woodburn Road and Tilba Street, the new center is open to the general public and will play an important role in the local community, functioning as a multipurpose venue for a range of social, cultural, educational and recreational activities, community meetings, conferences and gatherings.
