Over the years, Perich Constructions has refurbished and redeveloped several aged care and retirement living spaces for Christadelphian Homes, including the Maranatha Village in Queensland, Ridgeview Aged Care in Albion Park, Southhaven Aged Care in Padstow Heights and Ashburn House in Gladesville.
After successfully completing stage one and two of the redevelopment of Southhaven Aged Care in Padstow Heights, Perich Constructions was invited to tender on the next phase. With proven capacity to work in this highly sensitive environment, Perich was awarded the project, and honored to be entrusted with the delivery of such a significant and highly anticipated addition to the aged care facility.
Perich is pleased to announce that this latest development, was completed in March this year, and involved the demolition of existing structures on the site and the construction of a brand new multi-story administration building at the campus of Southhaven Aged Care in Padstow Heights.
Armed with the latest fire safety system, the new building links to the existing adjacent ‘Riverside’ accommodation via an enclosed pedestrian bridge. Designed by Martin O’Toole Architects, the purpose-built facility features a range of communal recreational areas, reception and foyer, separate dining at ‘Ernie’s Café’, intimate sitting rooms, residents’ activities rooms, staff offices and balconies throughout.
The handover of a project to a client is always a celebrated achievement, but we are particularly proud of everything that we have delivered at Southhaven Aged Care and to have played such a major role in the evolving transformation of the facility it is today.
Perich Constructions has a wealth of experience in delivering aged care developments in New South Wales and, crucially, a reputation for ensuring that we preserve the safety, security and privacy of staff, residents and visitors while construction takes place. The delivery of the Link Building brings to the fore our position as a trusted builder in difficult to access, fully operational and highly sensitive projects with minimal disruption to surroundings.
Key to this project has been our close partnership working with Martin O’Toole and Christadelphian Aged Care. The result is an exceptional new facility that will really provide the Southhaven community with great use and many benefits.
As this project draws to a close, we would like to thank all parties involved in bringing this project to life, and very much look forward to working with Christadelphian Aged Care again in the future.
